We offer beginner groups at different times and with support in different languages. All groups follow the same A1 Italian programme and attend live online classes with an Italian teacher.
One Course Module — 10 Lessons
Classes take place twice a week and last 60 minutes. After completing the first module, the group continues with the A1 programme. The price includes live classes, learning materials and homework.
All times are shown in Italian time. For some groups, the final schedule is arranged according to the availability of the participants.

Once you complete A1, you are no longer starting from scratch: you have essential grammar, a core vocabulary and basic communication skills that allow you to move on to the next level — A2.

After completing A1, you can continue with our A2 Italian course, where you will expand your vocabulary, learn new grammar structures and develop greater confidence in everyday communication.

Can I join the course if I don't know any Italian at all?
Yes. The course is designed for complete beginners. We start with pronunciation, reading rules, your first Italian words and the most essential grammar structures. No previous knowledge of Italian is required.
Do I need to take a placement test before the A1 course?
If you have never studied Italian before, you do not need to take a placement test — you can join the beginner group directly.
If you have already studied some Italian, we can offer you a placement test to determine whether A1 is the right level for you or whether you should join a higher-level course.
How many times a week are the classes?
Groups meet twice a week. This schedule gives you regular Italian practice while leaving enough time to review the material and complete homework between lessons.
How long is each lesson?
Each group lesson lasts 60 minutes and takes place live online via Zoom.
Which textbook do you use?
The course is based on Nuovo Espresso 1. For students starting from absolute beginner level, we also use additional materials on Italian phonetics, pronunciation and essential reading rules.
What language does the teacher use to explain the material?
We organise separate groups with language support for English-speaking, French-speaking and Russian-speaking students. At the same time, Italian is gradually introduced from the very first lesson so that you become comfortable hearing and understanding authentic Italian.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
If lesson recordings are available for your group, you will be able to watch the missed class later and review the material independently. Your teacher will also let you know which exercises or homework you should complete.
How much does the A1 Italian course cost?
One study module includes 10 live lessons of 60 minutes and costs €125. After completing the module, the group continues with the A1 programme.
Can I complete the entire A1 level in 10 lessons?
No. Ten lessons are one study module, not the entire A1 level. To complete the level properly, you need to follow the programme step by step and practise regularly between lessons.
Can I join the course from another country?
Yes. The course is 100% online, so you can join from anywhere in the world. All class times are shown in Italian time.
What should I study after A1?
After completing A1 confidently, you can continue with the A2 Italian course. At this level, you will expand your vocabulary, learn new grammar structures and communicate in a wider range of everyday situations.
