Do I need to take a placement test before the course starts?
Yes. If you have studied Italian before, we will invite you to take a free online placement test or have a short interview to assess your level and recommend the most suitable group. If you are a complete beginner, no placement test is required.
How many students are in each group?
Our classes are held in small groups of up to 6 students. This format creates a comfortable learning environment, gives every student plenty of opportunities to speak, and allows the teacher to provide individual feedback and support.
How do the online lessons work?
All lessons are held live via Zoom. During each class, you’ll interact with your teacher and classmates, take part in conversations, complete interactive exercises, and practice Italian in real-life situations.
What if I miss a lesson?
No problem! All lessons are recorded, so if you miss a class, you can watch the recording at any time and stay up to date with the course.
Do I need to buy textbooks?
No. All essential learning materials are included in the course and provided by your teacher. If you wish to study further on your own, your teacher may also recommend additional textbooks and resources.
Is there homework?
Yes. After each lesson, you’ll receive homework to reinforce what you’ve learned. Your teacher will review your work, provide feedback, and help you correct any mistakes.
Can I join a group after the course has already started?
In some cases, yes. If the course has already begun, we’ll check whether it’s still possible for you to join without missing essential material. If necessary, you’ll receive recordings of the lessons you’ve missed so you can catch up.
What levels are available?
We offer courses for all CEFR levels: A0, A1, A2, B1, and B2. If you’re not sure which level is right for you, we’ll assess your Italian for free and recommend the most suitable course.
